The jaws on this puller can be changed to operate in a 2 or 3 jaw configuration for internal or external pulling action.
Simply unscrew the knurled screw cap to release spring and jaw cover, unhook the jaws and replace as necessary to the configuration required.
Replace cover plate and tighten spring with knurled screw.
Keep any moving parts clean and well oiled
